An ex-Williamson County Jail prisoner, Florence Fort, told The U.S. Sun that Wynonna Judd’s daughter, Grace Pauline Kelley, was expecting the arrival of her child while in jail.

Florence, who was held in the same prison as Grace from August to October 2021, confirmed that Grace was pregnant when she was in prison.

According to Florence, Grace had already chosen a name for her child and appeared to be excited about the pregnancy.

Despite their estranged relationship, Florence revealed that Grace’s mother, Wynonna, was supportive of the pregnancy, and Grace spoke with her often.

Florence said that a baby shower was arranged for Grace, and Wynonna called during the event. The ex-housekeeper also revealed that Grace’s baby’s father is currently incarcerated.

At the time, a lawyer for Grace Pauline Kelley refused to comment, and a rep for Wynonna did not respond to The U.S. Sun’s appeal for comment.

According to previous reports by The Sun, Grace Pauline Kelley experienced legal issues when she was arrested on April 30, 2020, due to violating her probation related to a meth case from 2016. As a result, she received an eight-year prison punishment.

After her hearing on April 19, 2021, Grace was granted parole and later released. She was instructed to report to the Murfreesboro Probation and Parole Office.

A Tennessee Board of Parole spokesperson informed The Sun that “On April 22, 2021, a final decision was reached, urging her release to parole supervision along with specific post-release conditions.”

These conditions include receiving substance abuse treatment, referrals for substance abuse aftercare, and undergoing random drug screenings. The spokesperson clarified, 

“Her home plan will need to be approved by the Tennessee Department of Corrections, then a parole certificate will be issued, and then the Tennessee Department of Corrections will manage her release back to the community.”

Unfortunately, in August, Grace Pauline Kelley was arrested once again for violating the terms of her parole.

Drug Charges

The legal complications and trouble started with Grace’s arrest on June 14, 2016.

Later, on May 26, 2017, in Tennessee’s Williamson County Court, she entered a guilty plea to charges related to the manufacturing, sale, delivery, and possession with intent of meth.

Also, she faced accusations of meth manufacturing and delivery in Maury County, but she pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of meth possession.

For these reasons, Grace Pauline Kelley received an 11-month and 29-day jail sentence, which was suspended. The sentences for the Maury County and Williamson County charges were served together.

After a 30-day period of imprisonment, Grace was released from the Williamson County Detention Center on June 16, 2017. She later continued her punishment through participation in a drug program mandated by the court.

However, in 2018, she received an eight-year sentence at West Tennessee State Penitentiary for violating probation when she ran away from the 21st recovery court program.

On November 8, 2019, Grace Pauline Kelley was granted parole, her early release from prison, five years before schedule, for the given eight-year punishment.
